PokeSurvivor gacha uses tickets earned by playing, not real money. A single pull costs one normal ticket; a ten-pull costs ten normal tickets or one ×10 ticket. Rarity rates are 1★ 45%, 2★ 30%, 3★ 17%, 4★ 6.5% and 5★ 1.5%. A ten-pull guarantees at least one 4★ or better. After 70 pulls without a 5★ on a banner, the next pull is guaranteed 5★; each banner has its own counter.

Regional banners
The gacha uses regional banners from Kanto through Paldea. A banner has its own rarity pool and its own 5★ pity counter. Pulling on one banner does not advance another banner’s counter.
The roster is 966 partners, but a banner does not contain every species from its region at every rarity. Check the banner pool before spending a ×10 ticket for one specific partner. The Pokédex lists the full roster by region and rarity.
Rarity rates
| Rarity | Chance per pull | Duplicate refund |
|---|---|---|
| 1★ | 45% | 15 PokéCoins |
| 2★ | 30% | 30 PokéCoins |
| 3★ | 17% | 60 PokéCoins |
| 4★ | 6.5% | 120 PokéCoins |
| 5★ | 1.5% | 300 PokéCoins |
The rates are per pull before the pity and ten-pull rules. A 4★ or 5★ species is not guaranteed to be the one you want; the rarity roll and the species roll are separate. A fan model’s 0.33% estimate for one 4★ in a 20-entry Epic pool is a model calculation, not an official rate for that species.
Pity and the ten-pull guarantee
A ten-pull guarantees at least one 4★ or better. This is a floor, not a 5★ guarantee. The 5★ pity counter is separate: after 70 pulls without a 5★ on that banner, the next pull is guaranteed 5★. The counter resets when you receive a 5★ on that banner.
Do not spread a pity attempt across banners. If you are at 60 pulls on Kanto, switching to Alola does not carry the 60. The tier-list guide explains why a 5★ model pick may still not be the right target for your account.
Ticket costs
| Pull | Cost |
|---|---|
| Single | 1 normal ticket |
| Ten-pull | 10 normal tickets or 1 ×10 ticket |
A ×10 ticket is a convenience, not a discount; it represents the same ten pulls. Save it for a banner where you want multiple entries or are close to pity.
Every ticket source
- Normal enemies: 1/400 chance to drop a normal ticket.
- Regular boss: 1/3 chance of a ×10 ticket, plus other drops.
- Rift legendary: 1/2 chance of a ×10 ticket, plus three normal tickets and coins on a win.
- Locked chest: 1–3 normal tickets with a 15% chance of an additional ×10 ticket.
- Daily missions: mostly 2–3 normal tickets plus 150–250 coins.
- Weekly missions: 1 ×10 ticket plus 800–1,000 coins.
- Achievements: some reward normal or ×10 tickets.
These are the current code values. Older guides that say every boss drops a ×10, or every rift gives one, overstate the income. The missions guide lists the objective types; the achievement guide lists the reward categories.
Duplicates and shinies
A duplicate partner is converted into PokéCoins: 15/30/60/120/300 by rarity. A duplicate shiny refunds triple the coins. The original partner is not lost; the duplicate is the extra copy.
Gacha pulls are shiny 1 in 100. Wild enemies are shiny 1 in 4096, and rift legendaries are 1 in 512. Shiny status does not change the rarity refund by itself; the triple refund applies when the duplicate is shiny. The shiny guide covers collection and selection.
Can tickets be bought?
No. The official guide says tickets cannot be bought with real money. The game is a free, non-profit fan project with no ads or purchases; voluntary donations pay for servers and give no advantage. Any site selling tickets, coins or “official” accounts is not the original game.
The only official website is pokesurvivor.com. A copy site has its own account database and cannot share progress. The download guide and save guide cover the official entry points.
Quick answers
What are the 5★ rates?
1.5% per pull, with a 70-pull pity on each banner. A ten-pull guarantees at least one 4★ or better, not a 5★.
Do pity counters share between banners?
No. Each regional banner has its own 5★ counter. A 5★ on that banner resets its counter.
Can I buy tickets with real money?
No. Tickets are earned by playing. The game has no real-money purchase for tickets or coins.
What happens to duplicates?
They convert to PokéCoins by rarity: 15/30/60/120/300. A duplicate shiny gives triple coins.
